GLP-1
Clinician-guided GLP-1 therapy combined with movement, nutrition, stress support, and body-positive care.
GLP-1 medications are tools, not shortcuts. They support healthy weight management by helping regulate appetite, blood sugar, metabolism, and the brain’s hunger signaling. For many, they finally provide the physiologic support that lifestyle changes alone couldn’t unlock.
What makes our program at Sunstone Care PDX different is the care that surrounds the medication. You’ll be safely monitored by our clinicians at every step of the process, with regular check-ins, labs, dosage oversight, and personalized guidance from a team that treats your whole health—not just a number on the scale.
Sustainable change takes time, support, and the right input. Because this is a process, not an overnight fix, our program pairs medical management with structured, graded care:
Patients meet with our chiropractic physicians or physical therapists for individualized exercise plans that progress safely, build strength, and restore confidence in movement. Programs include graded activity, resistance training, and weight-bearing exercise to support muscle retention and metabolic health.
You’ll also receive dietary counseling that focuses on nourishing your body through the transition, including education around protein goals, daily protein timing, and your personal protein needs to support lean muscle, recovery, and long-term success.
This journey isn’t about perfection, speed, or “willpower.” It’s about steady progress, safety, and care that finally meets you where you are. We’re here to help you take the next supported step—whatever that looks like for you.
