CHIROPRACTIC CARE

Expect to spend about an hour at our clinic on your first visit.  We'll perform a thorough history and physical examination in order to identify the cause of your concern. We may order tests such as X-rays, MRI's, or other laboratory tests to help establish a diagnosis. We'll then work with you to develop a treatment plan.

We may prescribe massage, physical therapy, or acupuncture in conjunction with your treatment. We work closely with many other medical providers in the community, such as primary care naturopathic and allopathic physicians. We will readily refer to other medical specialists, such as an internist, a physiatrist, an orthopedic surgeon, or neurosurgeon, when chiropractic care will not appropriately address your concern.

We understand that many people feel hesitant about chiropractic care, often because of the common belief that it always involves “popping” or “cracking” joints. In reality, that’s just one small aspect of what we do—and it’s not necessary for every patient.

Chiropractic care is highly adaptable and can be very gentle. There are many forms of low-force, comfortable techniques designed to meet you where you are, especially if you’re in pain or feeling apprehensive. Our approach is always tailored to your needs and preferences.

As physicians trained in musculoskeletal health, we look at the full picture. Treatment may include a combination of soft tissue work, movement and exercise guidance, lifestyle support, and other evidence-informed therapies. Our goal is to help you feel better, move better, and feel confident in your care—without pressure and always with your comfort in mind.
