Mikyla moved to Portland in 2015 from California to get her undergraduate degree. With a history of working in ceramics manufacturing and in healthcare clinics, she found a love for bodywork and hands-on healthcare. Mikyla is a proud graduate of East West College of the Healing Arts. 

Her style has been described as intuitive and supportive, using techniques like deep tissue massage, myofascial release, and Swedish relaxation. She is currently studying Craniosacral therapy and Tui Na and loves to incorporate these modalities in her treatments. 

Mikyla believes that, in the era of telehealth appointments and social media, touch in healthcare and society is especially important. She hopes to empower her clients to feel like they are in control of their bodies and support them on their healing journeys. 

Outside of the clinic, Mikyla likes to work with her hands on bookbinding and ceramics projects, watch films at local theaters, go on day trips to the gorge or coast, and cook up beautiful meals.
